The Japanese automaker Kobe Motor Company is keen to continue investing in Tanzania

The government's efforts to establish a business-friendly atmosphere have been applauded by Japanese auto exporter Kobe Motor Company, which also reaffirmed its intention to keep investing in Tanzania.

As part of its long-term expansion strategy, the company, which already has headquarters in Dar es Salaam, plans to expand its reach throughout other East African Community (EAC) member countries.

Tanzania's advantageous position combined with a friendly business climate, according to Ken Aoki, Head of Marketing at Kobe Motor Company, makes the East African nation more comparable.

One of the major commercial centers in the East African market is Dar es Salaam. We are looking into the possibility of strategically expanding to further places in Tanzania and the East African region overall. We have successfully introduced Kobe Motors in Dar es Salaam," he stated.

Aoki added that Kobe Motor Company provides car asset financing for one or two years to give consumers additional financing options, as part of the company's strategy to provide dependable and easy transportation solutions.

"We provide our customers with the option to purchase cars directly from Japan through short- to medium-term asset facilities. The consumer has the option to pay the remaining balance over 12 or 24 months, with the first payment being made in full at 35%. Aoki stated, "We are currently negotiating in order to provide better rates in the future.

Victoria Geoffrey, a sales executive for the Kobe Motor business, encouraged Tanzanians to take advantage of the business's vehicle asset financing option, saying that the company will be replenishing its inventory of reasonably priced and high-quality cars in the latter half of this year.

"This is a special chance for our prospective clients. We developed this flexible payment option because, as a firm, we recognize that not everyone can afford to pay a 100% upfront fee," Victoria stated.
