Autoexpo Kenya to be held in Nairobi in 2024
The 25th AUTOEXPO KENYA comes back to Nairobi in 2024. The event will be held at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC), in Nairobi from 03rd – 05th July 2024. This is the biggest automotive trade exhibition in the East Africa region with a focus on automotive tools, spareparts, accessories and garage equipment. The event showcases products from over 30 countries and attracts visitors from over 18 nations.
The automotive sector in Kenya is a part of the country's economic growth and development. It involves the assembly, retail and distribution of motor vehicles, such as cars, motorcycles, trailers, and buses. The sector has grown to include five major assemblers: Toyota (East Africa), Cooper Motor Corporation, General Motors, Simba Colt and DT Dobie. The sector also has some local automotive companies, such as Nyayo and Mobius Motors, which aim to produce Kenyan-made cars. Kenya has a well-established automotive industry compared to its neighbours in East Africa. The government has also announced plans to establish a national automotive council to boost the local assembling of cars.
Apart from Kenyan suppliers, exhibitors from various countries will have products on display. The exhibition is set to showcase tools, machinery and products like Auto Spare Parts, Tyres & Batteries, Lubricants Garage Equipment, Traffic Safety and Signage Products, Fuel Station Products, Automotive Tools, Service Station Products, Car Accessories, Car Care and Security Products, Car Loans/Finance, Electric/Hybrid Vehicles and more.
The exhibition is supported by the local automotive industry and trade bodies including Automobile Association of Kenya and Jiji Kenya
